ELIO SAVRON January 19, 1933 - October 9, 2011 After a lengthy illness, it is with sad hearts that we announce the passing our husband, father and grandfather, Elio. He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Dorina; daughter, Marina; son-in-law, Monty; granddaughter, Megan; and family in Italy. Elio enjoyed spending time with his family and particularly enjoyed attending his granddaughter's dance performances and soccer games. Elio also enjoyed watching hockey, working in his garden and vacationing with his family. God saw you getting tired And a cure was not to be So He put His arms around you and whispered, Come to Me . With tearful eyes we watched you And saw you pass away And although we love you dearly We could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. A private entombment will follow. Our family offers a heartfelt thank you to all the staff of the Misericordia Health Centre (Cornish 2), who cared for Elio during his illness.
